Product description : Comes as soluble flakes or granules with a dark red color and a purity of 99.7% minimum.

Uses : The main fields of use for are surface treatment, wood preservative, leather industry but also as a powerful oxidizer in inorganic chemistry. In surface treatment, chromium trioxide is used for decorative chrome plating, hard or functional chrome plating and chemical attack on plastics before metallization. It is also used for passivation and as an oxidizing agent for catalysis.
